Today I started 'Miles from Nowhere' also called 'Chasing a Dream' TV movie from 2009; with Treat Williams and Andrew Lawrence.

I did 6.2 miles on the elliptical in 35 minutes.

Today was day 2 of 'Miles from Nowhere' also called 'Chasing a Dream' TV movie from 2009; with Andrew Lawrence.

Today I finished 'Miles From Nowhere' and started 'Don't Knock the Rock' from 1956, with lots of great rock 'n' roll acts & music from the '50s.

I did 6.5 miles in 35 minutes on the elliptical today in intervals:

Today I finished 'Don't Knock the Rock' from 1956; I did 6.4 miles in 35 minutes on the elliptical, and I think my workout was easier than dancing in the 1950s!

Thursday 1/13/22: 7.03 Miles

My 3-day workout week is over and Elvis has left the building! Today's Afternoon Workout: 7.03 miles on the elliptical in 32:14 minutes. One-minute warmup at resistance level 9, then two interval segments at resistance level 8 followed by level 7 for 13:30 minutes each, and the rest of the time was at resistance level 7. 20 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace.  Third and final day of watching ' Elvis on Tour ' from 1972, with the one and only Elvis Presley! Today's movie segment was just like the other days with lots of screaming fans and music, including the songs 'I Got a Woman', his concert closer 'Can't Help Falling in Love', and 'Memories' during the end credits! Wednesday 1/26/22: 7.05 Miles

Day 2 of working out is over and it was lively! Today's Evening Workout: 7.05 miles on the elliptical in 33:47 minutes. Five-minute warmup at resistance level 9, then two interval segments at resistance level 8 and then level 7 for 13:30 minutes each, and the rest of the time was at resistance level 8. 20 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace.  Second day of watching ' Elvis: That's the Way It Is ' from 1970, with concert footage of Elvis Presley! Today's movie segment included 'Love Me Tender' with Elvis kissing girls in the audience, plus 'Just Pretend', and the segment ended on an upbeat note with 'Patch It Up'! Friday 09/03/21: 3.82 Miles

A week of working out is done and another movie is finished!  Today's Workout: 3.82 miles on the elliptical in 21:27 minutes; the first 13:35 minutes were doing intervals; the rest of the time was a steady pace to finish the movie, and the end credit song 'Good News' by Randy Newman (above) was perfect! 10 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace. Resistance Level 11 (medium high). Final day of watching 'James and the Giant Peach' from 1996, a mix of live action and animation; with Joanna Lumley, Pete Postlethwaite, and the voices of Simon Callow, Richard Dreyfuss, Jane Leeves, and Susan Sarandon; I never read the book by Roald Dahl, but the movie makes me want to read the book; a sweet story and a family-friendly movie with good music and great imagery!
