Tuesday 09/28/21: 3.26 Miles

Day 2 of working out is done!  Today's Workout: 3.26 miles on the elliptical in 19:29 minutes; the first 13:30 minutes were doing intervals at resistance level 12 and the rest of the time was a steady pace at resistance level 13; today's movie segment included the title song 'Tea for Two'. 10 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace. Second day of watching 'Tea for Two' from 1950, starring Doris Day, Gordon MacRae and Gene Nelson.  IMDb Movie Outline: A socialite with aspirations of a career in show business bets her wealthy uncle $25,000 that she can say "no" to everything for two days straight, hoping winning will help her fulfill her dreams. Day 3 is done and only two more to go!  Today's Workout: 2.82 miles on the elliptical in 18:04 minutes; the first 13:30 minutes were doing intervals and the rest of the time was a brisk pace; today's movie segment included the song 'Put the Blame on Me' during a funny old-west segment (below)! 10 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace. Resistance Level 13 (medium high). Day 3 of watching 'Tickle Me' from 1965, starring Elvis Presley, Julie Adams, and Jocelyn Lane.  IMDb Movie Outline: A singing rodeo rider hires on at an expensive all-women dude ranch and beauty spa. It's been a productive year with great results; here's to more miles of movies in 2022 with a year-end goal of 1,000 miles on my elliptical!

Thursday 2/10/22: 9.6 Miles

Week 2 of working out in February is halfway done and so is Lili from 1953 ! Today's Afternoon Workout: 9.60 miles on the elliptical in 42:11 minutes. No warmup; three interval segments at resistance level 7, level 6, and level 5 for 13:30 minutes each, and the rest of the time was at resistance level 5. 30 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace.  First day of watching ' Lili ' from 1953, starring Leslie Caron, Mel Ferrer, Jean-Pierre Aumont and Zsa Zsa Gabor. Today's movie segment included the song 'Hi-Lili Hi-Lo' and the ballet dance number 'Adoration' with Leslie Caron, Jean Pierre Aumont, and Zsa Zsa Gabor!
