Week 6/14/21 - 6/18/21: 38.2 Miles

Monday: 6/14/21 Today I started 'Miles from Nowhere' also called 'Chasing a Dream' TV movie from 2009; with Treat Williams and Andrew Lawrence. I did 6.2 miles on the elliptical in 35 minutes. About: A high school runner tries to run a sub-four minute mile to achieve his dead friend's dream. Thursday 5/5/22: 8.06 Miles

Day 2 of working out this week is done, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the movie ends! Today's Morning Workout: 8.06 miles on the elliptical in 37:10 minutes. 5-minute warmup at resistance level 7; then two interval segments at resistance level 6 & 5 for 13:30 minutes each; rest of the time at level 5. 20 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace.  Second day of watching ' Follow the Fleet ' from 1936, starring Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, and Randolph Scott. Today's segment included Fred Astaire singing 'I'd Rather Lead a Band' along with a great solo dance performance! IMDb Movie Outline : A Navy sailor tries to rekindle a romance with the woman he loves while on liberty in San Francisco. #17 on my Miles of Movies 2022 list and my 5th Fred Astaire movie this year!

Week 08/22/21: 13.9 Miles

Weekly Stats: 08/22/21 - 08/26/21: 13.9 miles on the elliptical in 1hr, 18min (Sunday - Thursday) Finished watching one movie from the previous week (The Harvey Girls from 1946) Since I'm going to continue doing the shorter workouts with the Gym Boss Interval Timer , and since the daytime heat of summer has finally passed, I'm going back to afternoon workouts Monday through Friday; then I can also enjoy the daylight that is slowly going away a littler earlier each night.  This week's movie is #79 on my Miles of Movies 2021 IMDb list ! 

Tuesday 4/19/22: 7.62 Miles

I'm sticking with the Paris theme for week 3 of April workouts with another musical frolic from the 1950s -- Rich, Young and Pretty ! Today's Afternoon Workout: 7.62 miles on the elliptical in 34:01 minutes. 1-minute warmup at resistance level 7; then two interval segments at resistance level 6 & 5 for 13:30 minutes each; rest of the time at level 5. 20 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace.  First day of watching ' Rich, Young and Pretty ' from 1951, starring Jane Powell, Danielle Darrieux, and Wendell Corey.  Today's segment included the first song of the movie 'Paris' sung by Jane Powell and Wendell Corey!
