Monday 10/25/21: 3.76 Miles

With the rain outside, I picked a jazzy music-filled French movie for week 4 of working out this October -- The Umbrellas of Cherbourg from 1964!  

Today's Workout:

• 3.76 miles on the elliptical in 19:45 minutes; the first 13:35 minutes were doing intervals at resistance level 10 and the rest of the time was a brisk pace at resistance level 11; today's movie segment included the colorful title sequence featuring lots of umbrellas! 
• 10 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace.
• First day of watching 'The Umbrellas of Cherbourg' from 1964, starring Catherine Deneuve, Nino Castelnuovo, and Anne Vernon. 
• IMDb Movie Outline: A young woman separated from her lover by war faces a life-altering decision.
