Tonight was night 4 of working out this week; due to the heat I didn't start until after 11pm, and I took some advice from my husband about doing high intensity intervals in less time.
- I did 2.5 miles on the elliptical in 13.5 minutes at medium-low resistance (level 7).
- I did 10 intervals of 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace.
I used the Gym Boss Interval Timer that my husband bought for timing workouts; all I had to do was start it and change pace at the beeps, which made it easier for enjoying the movie without having to keep an eye on the time.
I didn't get through as much of the movie as I had wanted, but I got through a couple musical numbers and I felt good for getting through a workout when earlier in the day I thought about skipping it altogether.
