Tuesday 08/10/21: 7.5 Miles

Tonight was night 3 of working out this week; I finished watching 'Jamboree!' from 1957 and started 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers' from 1954, starring Howard Keel and Jane Powell.

No intervals tonight; I did 7.5 miles in 40 minutes at medium-low resistance (level 7) and at a varied pace between 9mph and 13mph.

Tuesday 09/14/21: 3 Miles

Done with day 2 of working out this week!  Today's Workout: 3 miles exact on the elliptical in 18:17 minutes; the first 13:30 minutes were doing intervals and the rest of the time was a brisk pace to get through more movie so I can finish it on Friday; only one song in today's segment: Dirty Dirty Feeling!  10 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace. Resistance Level 12 (medium high). Day 2 of watching 'Tickle Me' from 1965, starring Elvis Presley, Julie Adams, and Jocelyn Lane.  IMDb Movie Outline: A singing rodeo rider hires on at an expensive all-women dude ranch and beauty spa. Friday 6/3/22: 8.87 Miles

Done with the two-day workout week and the tropical paradise of Pagan Love Song was perfect for a rainy day! Today's Afternoon Workout: 8.87 miles on the elliptical in 38:31 minutes. No intervals; entire time at resistance level 6. Extra: Morning kettlebell , 40 swings x 2 sets = 80 swings (8kg/17lb).  Second and final day of watching ' Pagan Love Song ' from 1950, starring Esther Williams, Howard Keel, and Minna Gombell.  Today's segment included a musical dream segment with Esther Williams performing in the water! IMDb Movie Outline : A man from Ohio inherits a coconut plantation and falls in love with a half-American, half-Tahitian beauty. Song-and-swim musical ensues in the tropical paradise. #21 on my Miles of Movies 2022 list !

Done with Day 3 of working out and only two days to go! Today's Afternoon Workout: 4.21 miles on the elliptical in 21:41 minutes; five-minute warmup at resistance level 9, then 13:35 minutes doing intervals at resistance level 8, and the rest of the time was at resistance level 9. 10 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer ; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace.  Third day of watching 'Three Little Words' from 1950, starring Fred Astaire, Vera-Ellen, and Red Skelton. Today's movie segment included the songs 'Nevertheless' and 'All Alone Monday'!
