Tuesday 2/15/22: 8.04 Miles

Day 1 of February workout week 3 is done and this week's movie is another lighthearted musical romance from 1953 -- Kiss Me Kate!

Today's Afternoon Workout:

  • 8.04 miles on the elliptical in 36:51 minutes.
    • 5-minute warmup at resistance level 8; two interval segments at resistance level 7 & 6, for 13:30 minutes each, and the rest of the time was at resistance level 6.
      • 20 intervals using the Gym Boss Interval Timer; 20 seconds high intensity/fast, followed by 1 minute at a cool-down/slower pace. 
  • First day of watching 'Kiss Me Kate' from 1953, starring Kathryn Grayson, Howard Keel, and Ann Miller.
    • Today's movie segment included the duet 'So In Love' with Kathryn Grayson and Howard Keel, Ann Miller dancing while singing 'Too Darn Hot', another Ann Miller song 'Why Can't You Behave' dancing with Tommy Rall, and a singing/dancing duet 'Wunderbar' with Kathryn Grayson and Howard Keel!
